Task Description:
This week's during our distance learning we focused on a moon myth. You may of or may of not heard of this Maori myth, but it is well known throughout New Zealand. Rona and the moon. This presentation came with a voice recording of one text about this myth, a video about this myth, and two texts written by different people to explain this myth. As you can tell. Many, many people enjoy retelling this myth that there are so many copies of it! Our main tasks were to create a storyboard. A storyboard is created on google drawing presenting pictures and texts to explain the story. Usually we use paper to create a story board, but as were doing distance learning we gave a online story board a go. As usual we also broke our text into word groups. Breaking our text makes the story sound easier to understand and to read. It helps point out main points in our story. The following task, a worthy word chart. The worthy word chart helps us to understand new words for further writing pieces. And of course, we got given a create task! As usual we got given two options. I went for option ' A ' My create task can be found on the following slide. ENJOY!

β„™π•–π•£π•€π•¦π•’π•€π•šπ•§π•– π•Žπ•£π•šπ•₯π•šπ•Ÿπ•˜!
walt: write for a specific purpose.
Task Description!
This week we have been paying close attention to persuasive writings. Usually I write narratives as I prefer to write my own pieces in this form. But, my teacher instructed us to use a persuasive form to complete our writing task this week. To complete this task we had to use a planner before hand to come up with two types of stances. Either stance you choose we had to list five points before starting our writing. As I mentioned in the beginning of my description, it's easier to do a narrative form of writing so my hands of course had to make this persuasive writing just like a narrative! One of my challenges I came across was finding a way to start a persuasive, let's say I need to work on persuasive writings more often. ENJOY!

Subtracting Decimals! { T3W3 }

Our main task was to stack each decimal number place values. ENJOY!
