Technology Wood - Hard Materials !
Hard Materials.
I used a piece of paper, pencil and a ruler to make a full size working of my project because when creating your project in wood you can't make mistakes and by planning out your full size working on a piece of paper that idea can be avoided.I used a ruler, tri-square and a pencil to copy the measurements from my drawing onto a pieces of wood because without those specific measurements cutting the wood wouldn't be even and smooth.
I than marked a square line ( at a 90 degree. ) to copy the measurements from my drawing onto the block of wood to be able to cut the piece of wood to create a joint.
I than cut off the first piece of wood using a bench hook and a backed saw to cut all pieces of wood so I could be able to create a box. After I then repeated the cutting steps to create the box.
After all pieces were cut out I was able to clue all of them together to create a completed box.
Persuasive Writing: Being The Youngest Sibling Is Cool!
Persuasive Writing:
Are you the youngest sibling in your family? Or have you ever wanted to be the youngest sibling? It may seem cool being the youngest be it totally isn’t and here are MY top three reasons why.
Have you ever been compared to your older sibling (S)? Well it’s extremely annoying and you would never want it to happen to you! It’s frustrating, especially when your parents always compare you to someone else older. See being the most youngest isn’t as cool as you think.
Have you ever wondered why your older siblings can hang out with their friends and you can’t? Well that thought is always in my mind. Being the youngest your parents NEVER let you hang out with your friends. Like yeah I maybe be the baby but I'm nearly thirteen years of age. And yet you still don’t let me hang out with my friends! We will always be too young to hang out late after a school disco.
Does your older siblings embarrassed you in front of your friends? Well mine does! I can’t understand why our older siblings have to be such an embarrassment. Once my best friend came over to my house and my sister showed her some extremely embarrassing baby photos! Gosh why can’t she just be normal!?
Being the youngest isn’t as cracked up to be because you are always being compared, you never get to hang out with your friends and your always getting embarrassed. Do you want freedom? Well being the youngest isn’t going to give you freedom.

Should Everyone Learn More Than One Language!?
Kia Orana, Talofa Lava, Kia Ora, Hello, Bon Jour, and Ni Hao! Did you understand what I just said? If not then maybe if everyone learns more than one language we can create more population! And understand more words in different languages to relate to others.
Creating Projects:Have you ever came upon an amazing looking project but! It's in a different language? It sucks yeah I know, but how can we prevent this annoying accident? Well if everyone learns and understands a new language maybe this accident would not happen as often. This way gives others more of an opportunity to explore a project of yours and clearly understand it to share with others.
Making stronger connections:Mandarin Chinese, English and Hindustani are the top three most spoken languages in the world! There is a 50 percent chance you will come upon one person speaking either one of these languages. But to avoid this awkward situation may be learning one more language can be more beneficial.
Job opportunities:Having the ability to speak and understand two languages gives you more of an advantage towards job seeking. Communication in workplaces is extremely important, especially if you working at an international office who are considering bilingual as a high priority.
Learning more than one language can give you more of an advantage towards international projects, making stronger connections and job seeking. Maybe you should try this out?

Task Description:
Last week for science we were focusing on Zebrafish, why? Well since Zebrafish has close cells as humans we wanted to look further into Zebrafish. From this task I have learn't that Zebrafish has similar cells in their pancreas as humans, which makes us similar to Zebrafish more than Monkeys.

De-Extinction!
Walt: Discuss and justify an opinion on a topic.
Task Description:
________________________
This week's task was based around de-extinction, how can scientists bring extinct species back? Well this weeks tasks answered our answers all about de-extinction.
________________________
Our steps:
Our first task was to read our text and highlight the key words so we could understand our text for this week. After we were able to understand our text this week we had to answer at set of questions, each based on de-extinction. After each question was answered we got the opportunity to create a poster based on one of the three main categorises. I choose cloning to share with others, as for cloning I choose a very popular species that was the first mammal to be cloned!

Fragile Web Of Life!
The Fragile Web Of Life!
Food Chain:
Bees are created to produce and help nature create beautiful flowers, fresh fruits, and to keep species alive. Bees take pollen flower to flower to reproduce plants, fruits, vegetable, and many fresh nutrients. By bees keeping flowers and plants alive herbivores animals can feed on these plants. And then you may wonder what do carnivores eat? Well they feed on herbivores! But without bees species won't be able to live because there won't be any food left. Basically bees are the most precious species ever alive, without them we won't have fresh nutrients. Closer Look:
The low & high in food chain: ( Facts that I know! )
Tigers reproduce about 2 or 3 times in two years, since they have the ability to run fast, and are extremely strong they are at the top of the food chain list. This reason is because they are strong and are able to live on their own especially when predictors come their way. As for turtles, they reproduce about 100 eggs, so they are at the bottom of the food chain. Because they have more of a chance to get eaten as they aren't as they don't have as much strength and fastness as a tiger species.
How life starts: ( Facts I understand. )
Life first emerged inside the pacific oceans, nearly three and a half billion years ago! Crazy right! They all start from tiny microbes that are invisible to the eye, then they grow into enormous giants in the ocean! Everything starts off small, from water to air then light, and even energy that makes life possible! Over a million of years ago and as time goes pass the environment and atmosphere change which helps those species grow.

Hard Materials: How I Created My Box!
My Writing:
Our task was to draw eight ideas and choose one to build. I choose to build a box, and to create this box I had to draw a sketch of how i'll create a box including measurements. Once my layout was completed I had to cut and joint inside two pieces of wood so I can be able to create my box. Once I had my two pieces of wood cut out I will now be able to glue all the pieces together to create a box, which includes the sides as well as the lid.
