What I have learnt this year?

What I have learnt this term 1?

This year I have learnt many things like teta o tamaki,Native birds,Native tree,pests and predators and Pollution.This is very cool that we have learnt.Me and my literacy group and three reading as well as three activities.

My favourite thing that I have learnt in maths is?

This term one of my most favourite thing to do in math is when we first start so all we have to do is xtramath and math whizz those are one of my favourite things.The second thing which is the last thing I like to do is learning new math activities like my,Decimals,Time tables, Plus,Take aways,time and seasons.

Free time?

When it is free time in team 4 Mr Goodwin said it other our lunch time and morning tee time.But today which is the 12/4/2017 our teachers let us go on cool math games and we had so much fun.I think the last time we played cool math games was last year with matoa willis I think that’s how you spell his name and he was so cool.

My highlights this term?

I have three highlights this term.My first and favourite highlight was when we went off to camp it was super fun and if you haven’t check out my camp writing thing click the photo from our camp.

Girl in a jar

Once upon a time  a girl name Jasmine  was going out with her family because it was her nana's birthday. So she got ready and they all left and got in the car. Before they went  to the restaurant, which was where they are going to have the birthday party, she got her nana a present and she got her some colourfull  fairy's her Nana really loved fairys.Then when she bought it they went straight to the place.Once they got to the place  all of them stayed up.later that day the party started so they got their Nana and started but  Jasmine was really thirsty so she got her a tasty drink.After that her cousin came with there baby girl and Jasmine loved her so she went up and said “hi”.Next  she took the baby girl and showed her what she got the Nana. After that  someone called her and she put the baby down and she did what that person wanted her to do.But when she lifted she forgot to put the present back and something bad happened….

Jasmine forgot to put the present back so the baby open it and the fairy’s flow out and they went in the drink.When they were in the drink their pockets had  magic dusted and all of it came out and it went in her drink.After that the fairies went out and Jasmine drink it all up. However  she went small and she was on the table then she looked for the glass jar to see if the fairies went back in but when she went back to it they weren't in it and she was really upset.

But one of her cousin sour her and she took her to the nearest doctor and the doctor gave her medicine.Meanwhile when her cousin took her to the doctor she went back to tell everyone and then they all got flowers for her and then she went  home and she took the mean and she got better.

Oobleck

The equipment that we use was a bowl,spoon and a cup and the ingredients that we use was cornflour,water and food colouring. First we got into teams and the we  added the cornflour to the bowl.Then we slowly added small drops of water into the cornflour then at the same time we mixed it altogether, but you had to mix slowly so that it would  be right.After that Miss Scanlan tested the Oobleck and if it was right then you could pick any coloured out of pink,blue and green to put in your mixer.Then after     a while   you could play with it and when room 13 played with it we made a huge mess.  

The mixture looks  slimy,gooey and when you pick it up it was really runny.When I pick it up it was really weird and it was soft but when I wanted to hit it it was solid.

The mixture is solid and liquid.I think that the Oobleck is really fun and it will be a great toy to play with at home.It is also nice and when you put your fingers in the mixture your fingers sink in.

My Fun Hoilday

In my weekend on Saturday  I cleaned up the bathroom and my room because it was a messy.When my dad got home from work he made me two hot dogs and my sister made her a Omelette.At 4:30 my dad went to get us some KFC.After dinner I blew  up an  air matchest and put it in  my mum’s and dads room so I could watch tv and then   we went to sleep.The next day I woke up and got the ipad so I can watch youtube  videos.After that my mum and dad which there show on the tv.After they finish watching there  show my auntie ring beacuse she wanted to call about her little luch at her house.Then at 3:00 we got ready and cooked our chocolate cake with the chocolate finger around it.  Then we went to my aunt's house.When we got there we started to eat and we had chicken,Minass and fri bread.After that we had a little rist and then we had the chocolate cake.After that I went inside to watch my cousin play a game and then we played twister. But I watched and my little cousin was so good.Then we went home and planned our trip in the holiday.After that it was 8:30 and  me and my sister had to go asleep for the next day.

Katinka Hosszu champion

Im am Katinka Hosszu I am from Hungary. When I was at my game in the weekends I beat the word record at swimming.I won because I am a champion and champions practice.I have Brown eyes,brown hair and when I swim I were black,purple and blue swimming togs with cool gogles.My coach that teach me swim is  my husbend named Shane Tusup he was born in U,S,A.

Before  the race I felt very nervous because there was so many people there in the system.I was also was Excited at the same time because when I was turning my couch said I was great and I was thinking that I can win this thing.While I was swimming I felt so nervous because my Country supporters was there and they wanted me to win if I did not win then my country will be up sit with me.I also was feeling proud of myself  because I saw nobody next to me or in front of me so I knew that I was winning I also heard my couch saying go go go to me .When I was  on the last race I was really Tired.

My race was the women’s 400 meter inderinvel medley. Also my time was 4;26 it was only 5 mintes faster then the person behend me.I felt very happy and proud of beating the word record and now I am in the finals.When it was time to give out the medal and prizes  they said my name and I got a gold medal which means I came frist place.It was also my second time beating the world record.

The Olympics Rings

In the Olympics games there are 207 country also when the Olympics ring joined together that shows friendship between nations.Each country has at least one Olympics ring colour and that is called  continents there are 5 continents in the Olympics rings.The 5 different continents colours are blue which stands for New Zealand and Australia,black stands for Africa,red stands for America's,yellow sand for Asia and green stands for Europe.

One of the nations that are in the Olympics are U,S,A which stands for United States of America. Germany,Greece,Canada,Brazil,

Russia Evgeniya Kanaeva she has won  2 gold medals  and she does gymnastics.Michael Phelps does Swimming. He has won 18 gold medals 2 silver and 2  bronze and he’s from U,S,A.

The Olympics

In the Ancient
 Olympics long time ago all they did  was short runing races and boxing,Only men did it beacuse they had to get fit for the wor.But now they have Gymnasits,Diving and volley ball and more.They have the Olympics games in Rio de Janeiro,in Brazil,South America.On 5th of August in the middle of the night on friday the Olympics start for New Zealand and in America they start a diffenrt day.Ever tme the Olympics start they have a torch Relay in the torch relay they have to past the torch to diffent  people the last person have to light the big pot then the Olympics start.In the Ancite Olympics if you win you get a crown of olive leaves but now you get a medal and a toffey and I think that you get a bottle of wine.

Ancient Olympics

The first Ancient Olypics game took places about 3000 year ago in Olympia Greece.The games were held to oner soce the king of the gods and they happend ever 4 yaer.In the Begining they games were just sort raining race for greek  men to keep fet for wor.There was only one winner and the winner got a crown of olive leaves.Over time other eveirtes  were added like horues raceing and boxing. After 1 0000 years the Ancient Olympics were banned by the creastin.The Ancient olympics was always reminder for hope and peace.

The Rich and Famous Opera House

The Sydney Opera house is in in the middle of the city in Australia and it surrounded  by water . Australia is the closest neighbor to New Zealand.

The Sydney Opera house is white and it looks like a shark fin in the day also the Sydney Opera house has some  massive windows that you can see throng . At night they can play some movies and some games for the people that come and visit. 

In the Sydney Opera house each year  7 million people come to whach Opera shows. In some Opera shows there are some gymnastics and stunts and singing that   that have some music instruments and also there are competition that people come and see.  

London eye

Today we are writing about the London eye and it is a struc tyre in London and it next to the  water. When you are on the top of the London eye you can see lots of buildings and it a amazing view. It has 32 Gondolas which people go in also the ride takes 30 min long and  the London eye is 40 metres tall.When it night time  people sill go on it and it looks cool .It glows all night and it  colour is pink and red  and a bit of blue.It is so amazing a intersecting.

colosseum

Colosseum is a building in Italy. We all watch a video and  the Colosseum was scary and it look haunted.also in the video there were different places that look cool . I really want to go and visit  it in really life.In the video it told us some name of same building I saw on same biulding that  there was   lots of shapes. Also there are some bigger building that some queens and kings.
