Task Description:
For this task we focused on a book called springers. This book was based on a young girl, a dad, and a grandmother who is old. Our task was to understand the story and then complete a set of questions that our teacher gave us. After we completed the set of questions we got to act out some part of a scene in the book! This task was quite fun and challenging!

Meet The Kakapo!

Task Description:
This week focused on Kakapo. Kakapo are very special in New Zealand as their really rare. One of our tasks we had to follow to complete this weeks task was to make a information web based on Kakapo. I choose four categories to write about. Protection, What's on the menu, growing up, and habitat. Both growing up and what's on the menu are all similar subjects all based on food and feeding. Hopefully this information web can give you enough information to inform you about how these birds live.

This week we focused on Rattlesnakes! Our task was to read our text for the week then complete our weeks tasks. One of our tasks that we needed to complete was a set of questions that will prove our teachers that we understood our text this week. Once each question was answered we got to create a information web!

Last week our task was to focus on mammals in the Amazon Rainforest. All facts based on how they all live. Lately many men have been cutting down nature in the Amazon Rainforest! Which gives mammals in the Amazon Rainforest lest places to live!

Cloning - Poster!

Task Description:
This weeks tasks we have been focusing on de-extinction, one of the three main categorises of de-extinction is cloning. Here is a example of cloning, Dolly The Sheep. She was the first mammal to be cloned. The reason behind this poster was to share with others what I understand about cloning!

This week's task was based around de-extinction, how can scientists bring extinct species back? Well this weeks tasks answered our answers all about de-extinction.

Our steps:
Our first task was to read our text and highlight the key words so we could understand our text for this week. After we were able to understand our text this week we had to answer at set of questions, each based on de-extinction. After each question was answered we got the opportunity to create a poster based on one of the three main categorises. I choose cloning to share with others, as for cloning I choose a very popular species that was the first mammal to be cloned!

Task Description:
This week we have been focusing the 7 life processes. One of our task was to create a poster,rap, or a song based around what we know about the 7 life processes. I choose a poster and had to write about what each letter in the phrase " Mrs Gren. " means. This task was extremely fun as I got to teach different people the 7 life processes!

Task Description:
This week we have been focusing on the life processes. This task included understanding the phrase " Mrs Gren. " , completing various tasks, identifying key information in a text to complete our work this week. My highlight from this task was I got to understand and learn about the different life processes and how I could know if a object was non living or living.

Our task was to read a a story about GPGP ( Great Pacific Garbage Patch. ) Once we got the opportunity to read the story we had to highlight key information.




Once we had highlighted all of the key information we took each words and noted them all down. After we took our notes onto this grid we had to create a summary about our notes we took.

This week we have been focusing on a low-lying island. Kiribati. We had to create a " Create Task. " based on this one island explaining why climate change is a huge concern towards the island. This create task I said the reasons why Climate change is a huge concern, these days population is high and its important to care about our world.

This week we have been focusing on extreme weather. Our task was to create a poster based on a couple extreme weather and we must explain what each extreme weather is and how they damage the world. The four weather I choose is Thunderstorms, Tsunami, Cyclone, and Winter Storms.

Biography - Greta Thunberg!

Task Description:
This week we have been focusing on using graphic organisers. This is to help us in the future to write each one of our paragraphs make sense. Graphic organisers are helpful so we understand what to write in each paragraph. The first graphic organiser we had to create was about Greta Thunberg, and the second graphic organiser we had to create about was a famous person or someone we admire. This task I found fun and easy as I knew that this would be helpful for future time.
