Day 4: More than meets the eye.

Activity 3: Salt and Pepper [5 + 5 possible bonus points]

Deep in the heart of Bolivia (a country in South America) lies a natural wonder unlike anything else. It is a massive area of salt, over 10 000 km2 large, that is referred to as the Uyuni Salt Flats.

Tourists who visit the flats often stay in hotels made completely out of salt (salt hotels). This is not the only unique hotel that you will find around the world. In fact, you can stay in hotels made entirely of ice (ice hotels) or glass (glass hotel). Let’s imagine that you were given enough money to build your very own hotel.

On your blog tell us where you would build your hotel and what you would use to build it. For an extra five points, use Google Drawings to design one room in your hotel. You can also use a paper and pencil to draw your room, take a picture of the drawing, and post it on your blog.

Let's say I have been given a bunch of money to build my own hotel it would be located at Bali on Balangan Beach. Where every morning you would wake up to beautiful view of the beach. As for the outside of my hotel it would be made out of mostly ice and small parts of chocolate. The chocolate and ice won't melt at all! My hotel name is the Icey hotel. That's because , the hotel is mostly ice. Icey hotel is a five story hotel with 400 rooms , five pools , two spas , two basket ball courts , two play centers for kids and two gyms. At Icey hotel there are many things to do for all ages , for elders you have. Bingo , dance class , movie theater and a place to admire the ocean. For adults/teenagers you have the bar , movie theaters , gym , basketball courts , spas and pools. For younger kids there are many options to choose from like the kids center where they can learn to cook or play working for shops. There is also a shopping market where kids can play shopping or take turns of being the workers , coloring competitions , swimming/ swimming classes , outdoor activities , indoor activities , treasure hunts and trips. The cost it would be free for kids under 12 and over 12 it could be 20 dollars - 300 dollars. ( Depends on how much people would be staying or what you are doing ect. )

Welcome back fans! Today's post is day four of the Summer Learning Journey. Here I have finished the last activity for day four which is called Salt and Pepper. In this activity we got to design our own hotel and what we would want our hotel to be made out of and we also had to draw/create what one bedroom inside our hotel would look like.
