Task Description:
As for this silver medal problem we did some decimal problems. This decimal problem we had to is to take away from a decimal that my teacher gave me. Each problem had a different number for the decimal so we got different answers. I think that my answers were incorrect and correct. 

Leilani - My Holiday Recount!

As the last week of the holidays are coming to a close , I think it’s time to do a quick recount about what I did this holidays! What did you do this holidays?

Well let me start off with what I mostly did overall in the first week of this school holidays! Well I wished to watch some of my favourite shows on Netflix , but unfortunately I didn’t get to. I mostly spent some time with my dad’s side! Which is no problem at all. While I was there we went swimming , played games but I didn’t spend much time while I was there but it was fun!

As the last week of school holidays were approaching I choose to do some holiday blogging! My first post that I posted was a pick a path presentation that I was doing during school but I didn’t have much time to finish so I thought that doing that presentation would be great to do as my first post! But I didn’t just do blogging all week , I also did some fun things. Like during the weekends I had a barbeque with my mum's family! Next couple of days I hang out with my dad , did some shopping and now all I have is the weekends left to enjoy with my family. Oh and by the way I watched my favourite shows on Netflix! Also I am reading a book called “ Jake in space

Anyways so this holidays have been GREAT! Spending time with my family and friends , posting on my blog and making other people happier how great! Now that’s what you call a fantastic holiday! Right , maybe not? Hahaha! Moving on! Overall this holidays have been the best! How was yours?

Leilani - My Fun Day!

As I was getting ready in the morning I didn’t know how much fun was coming towards me. As I as well as two of my cousins waited we played some very fun and exciting games. Not long after we were heading to the pools. As I walked into the pools I felt excitement rushing through my bones and the smell of chlorine coming from the pools. Not to lie but there were a bunch of kids and adults swimming in all the pools , but not in the one we swam in.

While I was getting prepared to swim my nana was quite concerned about my height in a deep pool. I explained to her that I was going to be fine and so she trusted me , so off we went! As my whole body entered the pool I could feel a rush of coldness running through my feet to my arms , now I could say that it was very , very cold! Not long after my body got used to the coldness. Myself and my cousins swam , had races , laughed , tricked each other and just enjoyed our time at the pools. Our plan at the beginning was to have 30 minutes each in two pools , but since we really enjoyed our time in the first we stayed even longer! As we were swimming there was a lot of laughter , getting tired and struggling ( no lie but I was the one struggling! ) , but as all the fun time went fast by it was time to get out and go home. So we did. Walking home wasn’t a mission at all ( by the way we’re going to my aunties house. ) We ate some nicely cooked chips and bread for lunch and headed to my place.

Around two minutes later we had arrived at my house! My first thing that I did was go for a shower , of course. After that time myself and my cousin started to plan a treasure hunt. But as that time went by we had to leave a do some other things. Not long after we came back home and carried on with what we were doing. Both my cousin and I thought that doing a treasure hunt would be quite boring so we moved onto doing something else. This idea was supposed to be a truth or dare game but it ended up as a water balloon fight in jeans and clean clothes! From the really hot heat that water balloon fight cooled us down a lot. For hours and hours we played , laughed , got tired , made up games and just had a bunch of fun. But after all that fun time it was time for my cousin to go home. We said goodbye and so she lefted. So that was basically how my day went.

Task Description:

For this task I have written a descriptive writing about my day. This task I have wrote three paragraphs , not thinking about the right strictures of how to write. But I wanted this writing to be free and just a good writing. As I was writing I was thinking of descriptive words instead of boring , plain words. My writing I tired to explain things correctly and easy for people to understand what I wrote. For this task I had learnt how to use other words instead of using the same over and over again , as well I learnt how to be more descriptive of how I felt , what I smelt and just how I was. I enjoyed this task a lot because I got to write! Hopefully you did or you are going to.   

Leilani - No Fangs Vocabulary!

Walt: Understand the text from the perspectives of the characters.

Task Description:
As for this task we got to read a book called " No Fangs ". That book is all about a girl protesting to vampires on to stop sucking or taking people blood without permission. Once we've read the book we completed an activity about the vocabulary ( words ) that were in the book. Also we must had given and example of how you would explain the word into a sentence.

Leilani and Zamera - Food pyramid rap.

Task Description:
For this task we got into a group of two and wrote a rap about the food pyramid. Once we completed that we screen recorded our self and showed it onto a presentation with the writing if we want.

Leilani - Whoah That's Fast!

Walt: Solve problems with multiple elements.

Task Description:
As for this post this is all about math once again with measuring , time and speed. This here is a gold presentation for people who had finish both bronze and silver. I've learnt how to read the text problem before moving into the working. Another thing I've learnt in this problem is too figure out these problem good.

Leilani - A Healthy Week!

Task Description:
For this task we got a timetable and in that time table we had to write about what an average kid my age should do or can do to have a healthy and successful week. Once we've written out what an average kid should do in a week to be healthy we had to also in-clued how long each vigorous activity would take , next we calculated how long all activities would be in a week. Everyday your supposed too be doing at lest one hour of fitness and day to keep healthy. My total of hours and minutes were 8 hours and 20 minutes. Obviously  theses are all made up vigorous activities so ya. Enjoy!

Chicago Creative Writing!.

Mr Goodwin sat down to order his first Deep Dish Pizza. Only the chef had something different in mind for Mr Goodwin’s pizza. Instead of the usual ingredients like cheese, tomato, and ham. The Chief insisted Mr Goodwin to order a hot chilli sauce pizza with another mysterious pizza that comes with it for free!. Once Mr Goodwin heard hot chilli sauce coming out of the chief mouth his  jaw dropped wide open , then once he heard free pizzas he said as fast as a tiger can run “ Yes , I will order that! “. “ Great “ replied the chief and off he went to his kitchen to create the deep dish pizzas. After chopping , screaming , smelling , cooking and preparing the deep dish pizzas it was finally time to serve the pizzas to Mr Goodwin. They slowly placed the pizzas on the table. Keep reading to find out how emmbarsed Mr Goodwin gets.

As they slowly placed the two pizzas Mr Goodwin got himself ready to eat. He picked up one slice but then he took one massive bite out of his pizza , then it went silent. “ AHHH “ as loud as a little girl screaming for her brother to give her barbie dolls back Mr Goodwin went screaming and screaming for milk!. But he knew that he needed to continue to eat the pizzas or else. Off Mr Goodwin went to continue eating his pizzas. After a very hot while Mr Goodwin was finally finish with his FIRST pizza. “ I can’t do this! “ said Mr Goodwin while he was drinking a whole bottle of milk because how hot the first pizza was , “ no! “ said the chief. Mr Goodwin replied “ okay then “ so then he took one slice of the mysterious pizza. Inside of the deep dish pizza was all sorts of junk food like chips , chocolate , M&M , twisters , peanut butter cups all served in the pizza. This was a child's dream pizza not Mr Goodwin’s dream pizza! , that’s for sure!. But he took the challenge.

After eating both pizzas Mr Goodwin was bloated. Storming in like a grumpy smurf came Mr Burt. “ What are you currently doing in here! “ said Mr Burt in an angry tone. Maybe this wasn’t such a great idea Mr Goodwin thought to himself. Mr Goodwin stood up , “ look at yourself , your all dirty! “ said Mr Burt he also added on “ we have a conference soon so you better get yourself ready! “. At that point Mr Goodwin knew he had missed up. But Mr Burt forgave him ( like when doesn't Mr Burt forgive anyone he is so kind! ). After a long time later Mr Goodwin was ready for his conference but he had too suck his tummy in so that he can button up his shirt ( hopefully the buttons don’t pop off while he is in his conference). A long time later all three teachers were finish in their conference. Mr Goodwin said “ i’m never , ever going back to that pizza place ever again! “ , “ good “ replied Mr Burt. So then they continued to have a fun time in Chicago. The End.

Have you ever heard of Jumpman?. Well if you haven’t than let me tell you a story about Jumpman. Jumpman was first released in September 13 1985 in Japan. Well Jumpman was created by Shigeru Miyamoto. Shigeru Miyamoto and a couple of others thought that Jumpman wouldn’t be such a good name. But while they were thinking of a name their Landlord Mario Segale interrupted them and they decide to name Jumpman to Mario. Than Mario got more famous every day , every second every year!. So that is how Mario was born!




Mario back in the past was very different it was kinda created with 8 bit art which is a website where you can created a Mario drawing with a block app. But than once Mario kept on going on and on with the years and games the character change. Instead of an 8 bit art version than it turned into a real character.
