Walt: Use striking words and phrases in sentences.

Task Description:
This week room 2 literacy is focusing on using striking words and phrases in sentences. This weeks task will help us make our sentences interesting and will make our reader more interested. 

Our task this week was to work with a buddy to write a invitation to a made up guest to come to a dinner. But! When we are writing our invitation we had to pretend to be a famous fairy tale character. Why? Well this way is to hook the reader and make our writing interesting. Walt: Create interesting openings/introduction.

Task Description:
This week for literacy we got to learn to create interesting openings/introductions for our writing. Why? The reason why we had to learn how to make very interesting openings is to hook the reader. 

In this task we learned different opening's to hook our reader in different kinds of way. Hopefully you all will enjoy this task and learn something new!
