He Tino Pai { W3T2 }

Walt: Express our likes, dislikes and make compliments.

Task Description !!
This week for Te Reo Maori we focused on expressing things we like, dislike, and to make compliments. Inside this presentation we listed food/drinks, sports, tv/moves, or music that we either like, really like, or dislike. There's also phrases we had to practice to fully complete our Te Reo work this week. For our create task we had to either create a comic strip or present a voice recording to show a conversation between me and someone in my bubble. ( My sister. ) Hopefully within this presentation you have also learned some new words or phrases you can use in a future conversation! ENJOY!

Geometry!! { W3T2 }

Walt: Use mat plans to create 3D buildings.

Task Description:
This week we focused on geometry. Inside this presentation there is a slide presenting a simple mat that I followed onto another online website. I really enjoyed using this specific website because I got see my creation from different perspective's. The following slide I have created my own creation using only 30 blocks! I enjoyed creating my own mat because I got to choose the shape I wanted as well as creative colors! As for the last slide there is a video recording of me answering a few questions that have been given on the same slide. I hope you enjoy this weeks final math's equations cause I sure did! Enjoy!!

Within Our Earth { W3T2 }

Walt: Identify and summarise key information in a text. 
Task Description:
This week we focused on our earth! Within this task we focused on breaking down a text to find the main points of the story. We have also completed a gathering information grid to understand our text more. With this task we learned how to understand a text more. ENJOY!

Tectonic Plates! { W3T2 }

Walt: Describe Tectonic Plates. 

Task Description:
This week's focus is tectonic plates. This week's first task was to understand what tectonic plates are. Slide two writes a detailed description about what they are, what are the different types of plates, and so on. All information found in the paragraph were given by the top video but in my own words. The following slide we had to learn about what a earthquake is and what is a volcano? Each paragraph is very detailed and there's also a video providing extra information! ENJOY!

Hello there! Today i'm sharing my inquiry work for week two! This week we focused on geosphere. The first slide has three boxes, our task was to full them in about facts we learn't about, what we want to know, and what we already know. The following side is a summary of my learning. The summary has scientific words! Hopefully by the end of this presentation you would've known a handle of facts about the geosphere!

Reading Part 2! Vocabulary & Comic Strip! { W2T2 }

Walt: Identify word groups in a text.

{ Task Description: }

Have you ever thought a broken shoe could be repaired? Neither did I! Silicone, atoms, and heat all creates a healing shoe. Crazy right! This presentation purpose was to understand a specific text. Firstly we had to  re-word five phrase's. The following slide presents a comic strip. This comic strip is information from paragraph five which can be found in the text given. ENJOY!

Invention Part 2!! Detailed description! { W2T2 }

{ Task Description: } 

Invention part two. What could this be? Well let me tell you exactly what I did! Recently I have shared a few presentations about inventions. This presentation is just alike! Our topic was to share with our readers what we have created and why we decided to write our text. Slide three presents my vision. For this task we had to either create a poster or write four reasons why someone would like to take on our invention. I've decided to make a poster including labels to identify or explain how each part of my invention works!

The following slide present a audio recording of a detailed explanation of my new invention! I've made a home security brush! To find out more about my home security brush please visit slide three and four.

Reading! - Brake word groups!

{ Task Description: }

Welcomee back to another wonderful morning! Today i'm sharing my final piece of reading for this week! Today's task was similar to task one. As for task two our focus was to brake word groups and highlight them in two different colour's. Once our highlighting was completed we had to record paragraph six. In this presentation I learn't how to brake word groups to make a simple definition.

Welcomee back! This morning i'm sharing another set of math's! Today we focused on a strip graph and a dot plot graph! Each graph had simple questions for example how many people came by car? Or what day had the most sports? And so on. In this presentation I have learn't to read graphs carefully to provide quality answers to questions given. Enjoy!

Statistics! - Vocabulary, Graphs , and Pictogram! { W2T2 }

{ Task Description: }

Welcomee to you all! Today i'm sharing a few parts of my learning this week! This week  we focused on statistics! The first slide presents multiple statistics vocabulary. Our task was to find words out of each list and give a explanation on the next slide. Within statistics there is many graphs. The following slide shows eight types of graphs that are used all throughout math's especially statistics. As for today's graph we focused on pictogram. Pictogram in a graph presenting photos that are all labeled on the left side of the graph. As usual we got given questions. These questions we easy for example a few questions were asking the amount of fruit given in the pictogram. ENJOY!

I have decided to post a few slides today. Tomorrow will have a few more and same goes for Friday.

My Invention x2!! { W2T2 }

{ Task Description: }

Welcome back! Today i'm sharing a my writing piece! For today's task we focused on writing well-structured sentences. In our case we had to create a invention based on our thoughts about the future. With our invention we created we had to write a explanation about our invention in two basic sentences. Here i'm sharing my second invention. A home security brush! In this task I learn't about T.P.A. Topic, purpose, and audience. These three main points helped me create two sentences for my readers to understand my project! ENJOY!

Today's task we focused on breaking down word groups. By highlighting words in a group we could break down the sentence to make another example. I enjoy today's work as I got to understand what word groups were and what to do to create smaller sentences!

The Future! { W1T2 }

Welcome back everyone! Today i'm sharing my writing task I have so far completed. Due to New Zealand being on level four I now attend online classes with a few other class mates! 

In today's writing presentation I've only shared a few tasks as we're completing our writing piece next week. As for this week we first looked at how well our sentences should be built to hook readings. Following that task we watched a video based upon predictions of the future. With that video we had the opportunity to write our thoughts about our future. Our first official task was dictation. Our teach simply read us a text written by who had big predictions for the future. Our task was to listen closely and re-write the text. We also got to find key phrases and write down our thoughts about this text. We also had to compare our text we wrote with the one our teacher re aloud!

Welcome to everyone! Here i'm sharing my progress I've made within my reading work. Due to New Zealand being on level four lock down school's have been participating in online classes. In the pass two days we focused on planet earth!

In today's presentation I have presented my first task leaving one task behind to complete next week. My first task was to read a article called " One strange planet. " once text had been read we took a closer look at each section of the text. By taking the the phrases given we had to find them in our text and explain them in our own words. ENJOY!

Recorded Cases! Final Task! { W1T2 }

{ Task Description: }

Welcome to those reading! Today is our final day of the week. FRIDAY! Today I had the task of solving another graph from a set of three graphs. Each graph that were given had a set of questions. Our job was to analyse the graph given to solve the following questions.

Today's task had cases recorded from all over New Zealand. To complete our final task we had to create a graph using the correct graph to present the numbers counting in 50's. Here I have presented a line graph to explain the numbers of cases recorded from all over New Zealand! ENJOY!

Welcome!! Today i'm sharing my week one writing task! Due to the Coronavirus we take online classes! Last week we got assigned two task. This here is the second task!

Last week we got the opportunity to make our own inventions! I have created a bow tie that creates food! I am very exciting to show my projects as I dearly enjoyed it myself. Total Cases! Ages & Genders! { T2W1 }

Walt: Reading and analysing graphs.

{ Task Description: }

Due to the Coronavirus lockdown schools around New Zealand are not able to attend schools! But with technology each student got a device to participate in online classes! Today I got the opportunity to do a math's subject call with my teacher and a few other students. Our focus is being able to understand graphs and use information from each graph to answer questions. 

Today's graph focused on Coronavirus updates. There are two graphs. One explains the total cases by all ages. As for the second graph it explains the percentages of females and males who have the virus. Our job was to answer five questions. Two questions based around the line graph that explains gender percentages. The other three are questions like average number, confirmed cases ect. ENJOY!

Welcome back to another term of school! Unfortunetly students in New Zealand couldn't attend their first week back to school due to Coronavirus. But we impervised and now every student dose online classes! Here is our very first task for the week.

This week we have focused on stastics. This include bargraphs and question to be solved! These graphs are based around Coronavirus casses. Our task was to complete the very first graph that we were given out of the other three! Today graph presents all cases that have been recorded since the 27th of Febuary to the 14th of April! Once we skimed through the graph we moved onto the six following questions! From today's task I have enjoyed learning how many cases have been recorded from all over New Zealand! ENJOY!
