Create Writing! { T3W3 }

Task Description:
Our learning intetion this week was to create a creative writing based upon one image from five. My image includes a young boy was a fear expression from below his bed. My writing I've presented can be found on slide six. Before writing I choose to brainstrom some ideas then write. With my writing I choose to create a underworld portal! Unfortunatly my writing hasn't been fully completed, which I'm hoping to complete some day soon. ENJOY!

Task Description:
As for a final inquiry task I have created a world map with landmarks to present places where I learned any myths or legends from! With this presentation, two slides talk about two places we visited. As for the final slide I showed a world map with land marks to mark other countries we visited! On each slide you can read about what we learned when visiting the country. And by clicking the given image you can visit a site giving facts about the country the slide is focusing on! Comparing Myths!
Task Description:
Today I focused on some myths we learned throughout week one! America, South Africa, Croatia and Greece! Each image besides the Greece flag has a symbol to represent what each myth or legend was based upon. Made up codes are given with each image for a secret language! With this task I loved making new codes as making cool languages is so interesting!

Task Description:
This week we focused on a digital passport! Usually we carried around a hardcopy but we moved our information from our papers to complete this task! With this task I have listed at least four interesting facts aout each myth or legend we visited! ENJOY!

Task Description:
A Maori Myth creation! This week we focused on ' The Legend of Creation. ' all based about papatuanuku and how our Earth and Sky formed in our Maori language. This week's task was quite tricky, task compare and contrast was a task I've never taken on before, so this was a new experiance! ENJOY!C

Task Description:
This morning we focused on keeping on top of our well being. We were given this google drawing with three questions. What Taha I have been throughout this week, another taha I want to focus on and how I can improve. This task also includes a whare image to show what each side of the whare means.

Prac Decimal { T3W2 }

Walt: Order decimal numbers with up to three places.
Task Description:
Our learning intention was to focus on ordering our decimal numbers. With this task we got to complete different activities. Firstly, we noted facts from our decimal video. Another activity we had to choose weither chocolate bar we would want the most. Another following activity we had to complete was orgainising our decimal numbers from biggest to smallest in the table of decimals. As for a final task we worked in groups or with a partner to complete the last slide! 

Understanding Decimals { T3W2 }

Walt: Build decimals using materials!
Task Description:
Warm up task! With today's task we had to use a decimat to understand our decimals. Each square makes tenths, the middle size square are hundreths and thousandths are the much smaller squares. With this task we had to complete thirteen slides all had a decimat! Enjoy! Because I really did enjoy completing all the slides and learning how to use a decimat.

Greek Mythology! { T3W1 }

𝔾𝕣𝕖𝕖𝕜 𝕄𝕪𝕥𝕙𝕠𝕝𝕠𝕘𝕪!
Task Description:
Final inquiry task! Greek mythology! Completeing this task was honestly my favourite thing to do. In this task we focused on Gods from Greece! Our first main tasks was to orgainise images and texts in order to retell our story. As for our final task we created a poster upon a God. My God was Athena! Enjoy!

Blog Commenting!
Task Description:
To kill time I decided to do some simple blog commenting to fellow classmates! Two posts I commented on are based about our immersion assembly which took place in the beginning of term three! As for my last post, I have commented on a inquiry rotation task on my fellow friend Rosiephine! All links to each blog post can be found on their own slides. Jamaica - Blue Mountain! { T3W1 }

Task Description:
Today we got to focus on the Blue Mountain's in Jamaica! With these task we also got to learn about the Blue Mountain Coffee! To present our learning task I also had to do research about the Blue Mountain! With these task I also had to do notes from the Blue Mountain Coffee text and video. Lastly, to show what we learned we also created a poster which can be found on the last slide!

Task Description:
Today's learning intention we focused on ' The Watchers Of The South ' This story we are focusing on is about special guards who still watch Table Top mountain. For this task we watched videos and read texts to understand what we're learning. We also completed a character lister and we also took notes from our story we focused on. 

America - Paul Bunyan! { T3W1 }

Paul Bunyan!
Task Description:
Today we focused on an American legend. Paul Bunyan, an legend that now people still believe. This legend had been about Paul Bunyan, a strong axe chopper who supposidly be 63ft! This hight is totatlly out of it! With these slides we took down some notes, completed a united state map, and provided why each location spot is special!

Croatia - Around The World! {T3W1}

𝔻𝕣𝕒𝕘𝕠𝕟'𝕤 𝔼𝕪𝕖 𝕃𝕒𝕜𝕖
Task Description:
Team five have been given such a great opportunity to learn about myths and lengends from all over the world! Today we got to carry on this experiance and learn about a myth in Croatia! The ' Dragons Eye Lake ' What may this be? Well, our main focus is to learn about what storying is being told, what happened, and overall understand our new text. With this poster i'm sharing, me and a friend ( Chance. ) included photos of the speical lake, a map with a point marker, marking where croatia is, a image of Croatia, flora & florants and a Dragon to show add ' saltyness ' . We've also included important facts that are easy to remember and is all rightful facts.

Cambodia - Around The World! { T3W1 }

Task Description:
Another inquiry task we focused on is the Cambodia world task. This task I have listed a summarie of facts from Cambodia! I've also included the Cambodia flag, it's location and a birds eye view on Cambodia! With these task I have learned basic facts about Cambodia that can help me with any questions maybe in the future. 

Combodian Myth! { T3W1 }

Walt: Complete and focus on Cambodian myth of lighting, thunder and rain
Task Description:
Thisi term were focusing on myths and legends. We're rotating into different classes to learn about different myths and legends from different countries. The first task we focused on was a Match 'em up task. With four girds going up and down with what type of god their are, their collection method, and a gift they got from their teacher. The myth we learned about is a Combodian myth of lighting, thunder and rain. 

Term Three Immersion Assembly Recount! { Wk3T1 }


                        Immersion Assembly       

 A feeling of excitement, oh I was glad to be back at school. We merged into ‘ bg lines ‘ as we made our way to a special and important assembly pop music played to hype everyone up. ‘ What are we learning about this term? ‘ this thought continued to surround me as I took my seat.

                                                     Main focus for term three!                                                        This year Pt England is focusing on exploring our world.                                                                  Each year level is focusing on different topics that all fit                                                                    under  the ‘ exploring the world ‘ umbrella. Some year levels                                                            are focusing on food, how people travel to daily sites ( school,                                                          work ect. ) and how others may dress in another country!
Team five presentationEach team either presents a movie, play or both to show what their class will be focusing on this term. As for team five they presented a myth play, ‘ Sina and the eal ‘ So as for our learning intention this term we are learning about myths and legends from all over the world! Let this term start with blessings and new learning goals!

Term 2 - Thoughts { W12T2 }

Task Description:
Heyy! This is my final post for term two! Today we focused on sharing our overall thoughts. In the larger sized box i've shared main points of term two, focusing on what i've mostly experianced. The little, lighter pink box shares five highlihts from my term. The following box shares four lowlights ( events, people, subjects I disliked. ) i've mostly mentioned things I missed during term two. And for the third and last box I set three goals for the upcoming term three. Hopefully you can get a sense of what i've been enjoying and what I want to focus on next term.
