Going to the museum

Yesterday we went to the Auckland museum. Some helpful parents helped and all of the year 3 went on the bus it was lound. We look at the fossils and dinosaurs also some cultural items some of them has dark colours. We went there because mr Blakey wanted us to experience the museum. When we got there I got so excited that i couldn't stop smiling.

When we got there I saw 3 amazing things. My first amazing item was the minecraft. There were some goggles they were black. You had to sit down on a black cub. On there was bottoms that's you use to move up and down. It was like a minecraft world it had a lot of dark color Cubes.  My next favourite item was the wake. It had some beautiful Maori carving. The people that made it tried there best. My second favourite item was the Maori carving. There was some people doing more carving. I think they do it for 3 weeks. Their hands must get sore.

I really enjoy the day because I saw some amazing item. I really want to go next year with my next class.

Predator x

This dinosaur is cloud the predator. The predator x was the strongest sea carnivore which lived millions and millons of years ago. They can move 50 or25 metres a second fast. They also,had a big body so it will swim in the water. The predator x has sharp teeth like a shark. Also when. Fish is swimming and an other sea animal what's to eat it. The predator x has light fins because it needs to swim fast. 

Diplodocus

Diplodocus was the longest herbivore that lived millions of years ago. It was the biggest herbivore on earth.

A diplodocus was an amazing animal. A diplodocus has long neck because it needs to see over the trees. A diplodocus doesn't have sharp teeth because they are able to eat leaves. Also a diplodocus has short legs. At the front of the leg there is one sharp claw at the top. That's there because it can fight other dinosaur.  The tail is long because it fights its enemies so that they don't hurt its family. It's also has small eyes.

Today it was fun writing all about dinosaur. 

My holiday

On the holidays we went to the movies in the city we wanted born to dance it was amazing also I saw Paris goble they are all good dancer me and my dad had ice cream my dad had hokey pokey and I had cookies and cream all of us had drink my mum had pizza I didn't like that also my sister had pizza she had macaroni pizza we also got two cups of popcorn after that we want to tenpin bowling we had number 5 it didn't work properly then we had pizza I didn't like it then that's want I did in my holiday. 

No navy band

Yesterday after Morningtea we went in the hall your whole school went to see a item. We were watching a navy band they were peforming some items.

When it being we were introduced to a speech.  after that it started

First there was classic song It was beautiful.  next was Katy perry roar the people that come said Hess this song and all of us no the song. They said agina to gee this song it was uptown funk you up. Then they said now it s time for movies.  first movie was spongebob share pants. They mad  a spongebob photo out of carbon. Next I love was Star Wars they were fighting then he saw he's friend. Then they bothhugged. Next one was peonies there was a do a taking the case. My next favririte one was the water gun they had some water in it I don't no want the

Move was. There was intramint the one I want to play is this long brown long.  There was more interment. There was a electrical guitarn that was cool also there was trombone and a tuba and a flute one more thing was a clarinet.

I think that they have allot of talent. They are amazing. I  learn about the band that they inspired me to learn to play the the long brown drum. it sounds cool. 

The egg and spoon race

In the morning we went outside. The watcher was a little bit cold and a little bit worm at the same time  we went to play egg and spoon I was feeling excited when we were playing it was interesting.mr Blakey play it when he was little.

Room 14 was split in two group of 7.  so that means there are 3 people in each groups .When we were racing we needing to balance I was nervous and I was confident . We had one  spoon each and a ball we pretended that the ball was a egg.  some of the boys and girls was holding the ball with two hands.  but yours supposed to put one hand behind your back and the other hand holds the spoon.  at the end I think that all of us win. We had to walk slowly.

I like the game but I recommend a real egg. I think people should take there time because you don't have to win all the time. I would do that  again because it will make me know how to practise better with a real eggs.
