On the 16th of October Pt England School had an assembly all about what each team is going to be learning about. Each team has a different topic that they are going to be learning about but it has to connect to the Term 4 topic.They either can do some acting or make a movie or do both. We saw five different teams doing acting or we watched their movie. They had to do that because it has to show what their team topic is going to be about.
Pt England School term 4 theme is called musical madness. Musical madness is all about music. You can create different types of music with things around you , your body or instruments. Some teams are going to be creating their own music with their body and things around them.
Team 4 topic is all about music and sound. Team 4 is going to be creating music , instruments and more!. Team 4 had a video clip. That video had them in the car listening to music. My favourite part of the video clip was the end. They went into the staff parking lot then they stop and look at Mr Jacobson. Then he started to play music in his van.
I would like to create my own music using things around me.I would also like to participate in everything that the teachers made for us. The last thing that I would like to do is to create instruments like a guitar. I think a guitar is cool. Once me and my cousin made a guitar using some cardboard.
I think overall the term theme is a amazing choice. Musical madness is perfect for the last theme for term 4. I think all of the teachers from each team picked a great topic for their classes. I hope that everyone is going to enjoy their time doing the topic that their teachers picked.
Team 1 -
The first team to go was team 1.Team 1 teachers were listening to music. Each time the music changed how they were feeling. There are many songs that can change our feelings.They can listen to different types if music to change their feelings.If you want to be sad do sad music.
Team 2 -
Their performance was Mrs Gaston singing. Then the rest of the teachers came up on stage with their instruments. I think that they are going to be making sound with items around them.Mrs Gaston singing is amazing.
Team 3 -
They had a movie. They were creating a song into things that they were saying. So it is kinda like a song in real life. It looked like they spent lot's of time making their movie. They are going to tell stories with songs.They can use different music to make different stories.
Team 4 -
Team 4 is going to be making instruments. They are also going to make their own music.Team 4 can learn how to use instruments.The teachers said that they are going to teach us to use different instruments.
Team 5 -
They are going to be watching movies that change their feeling. Not just sad movies scary movies that make them scream.Team 5 is going to be expressing their feelings with music.
Team 1 -

Task description - Today is the first day back to school!After assembly we had to write what happen at assembly.So here it is.We did a plan ( which is not added in here ) This is also a practice for our writing test that is coming up soon.I have done a introduction , three paragraphs and a conclusion.
